Personalise Your Football Shirt: Name, Number, and Badges
A personalised shirt transforms from a shop product into a unique item that's truly yours. In this guide, we explain how personalisation works at Iberojersey: what you can choose, how much it costs, how long it takes, and the care instructions to ensure the name and number last as long as the shirt itself.
What You Can Personalise
On compatible models, you can add a name to the back, a number to the back, and in many cases, a number to the front. The option appears directly on the product page whenever it's available.
You can also add official competition badges — the league or European competition patch — to the sleeves, on models that support them.

Choosing Your Name and Number
The two most common choices are the current star player or the wearer's own name. The first option ages with transfers; the second lasts forever. If the shirt is a gift, the recipient's own name is almost always the most suitable choice.
There are technical limits to observe: the name has a maximum number of characters that varies with the font, and the number ranges from 1 to 99. Very long names are printed in a slightly smaller size to fit on the back.
Please confirm the spelling before finalising. As this is a bespoke item, we cannot correct it once applied.
How It's Applied
We use heat-sealed application with a professional press, the same method used on retail shirts sold by clubs. The result is smooth, wash-resistant, and without excessive raised texture.
Personalisation is done after we confirm your order, which typically adds one to two business days to the usual shipping time.
Caring for Your Personalisation
Letters and numbers can peel off for three reasons: excessive heat, fabric softener, and direct ironing. Avoiding these three ensures the personalisation lasts for years.
- Wash inside out, at 30 °C, on a short cycle.
- Never use fabric softener or bleach.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Iron only inside out, at a low temperature, away from the numbers.
Exchanges and Returns for Personalised Items
A personalised shirt cannot be exchanged or returned due to a change of mind or incorrect size, as it is produced specifically for you. This is the only exception to our exchange policy.
If there is a manufacturing defect or an error on our part in the application, we will always resolve it: open a support ticket with photos, and we will arrange a replacement.
