Size Guide: How to Choose the Right Football Shirt

The number one question before buying is always the same: which size to choose? This guide explains the differences between cuts, shows you how to measure correctly at home, and tells you exactly what to do when you're between two sizes.

Measure Before You Choose

The most reliable way to get it right isn't to choose by letter, it's to compare measurements. Take a shirt or t-shirt that fits you well, lay it flat on a table without stretching, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit. Multiply that value by two: you'll get the chest measurement of the garment.

Then compare that number with the size chart on the product page. If the value falls between two sizes, decide based on the type of fit you prefer — snug or loose — instead of rounding up randomly.

Also measure the length, from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. This prevents the surprise of a shirt that's too short in the torso.

Fan Version

Regular, comfortable fit, designed for everyday wear and for the stadium. Choose your usual t-shirt size.

This is the recommended version if you're going to wear something underneath, like a long-sleeved top in winter, or if you prefer the shirt not to cling to your body.

Player Version

Snug fit, technical and thinner fabric, identical to what's worn in a match. It's designed to sit close to the body, not due to a sizing error.

If you're between two sizes, have broad shoulders, or simply prefer some room, go up a size. This is the recommendation we give to the vast majority of customers.

Retro

Loose fit, true to the era, with longer sleeves and a lower armhole. Stick to your usual size for the original look, or go down one if you want something more fitted.

Note that the same size can vary between decades: a 90s retro shirt is typically looser than one from the 2000s.

Kids' and Baby Sizes

Kids' sizes are indicated by approximate age, but the useful reference is always the height in centimetres shown in the chart. If in doubt between two age ranges, choose the larger one: children grow between purchase and the end of the season.

Baby kits include a shirt and shorts and fit loosely, to make dressing easier.

What if it doesn't fit?

You have 14 days to request an exchange or refund, provided the shirt has not been worn, washed, or personalised. The process starts on the support page, with your order number and the desired size.

If the shirt has a name and number, it cannot be exchanged — so it's always worth confirming the measurements before personalising.

Frequently asked questions

Are the sizes European or Asian?

The measurements indicated on each product page are the actual garment measurements — always use the chest measurement for comparison, regardless of the letter size.

Can I exchange the size?

Yes, within 14 days and provided the item is in its original condition and unpersonalised.

Do shirts shrink after washing?

Washing at 30 °C and without a tumble dryer, the variation is minimal and won't change the size.

Should I go up a size for the player version?

In most cases, yes, especially if you prefer a regular fit rather than one that clings to the body.
